I had a great time with christina, adrian, and john at the san diego zoo! We went later that evening, and it turned out to be great...snakes, birds, and monkeys OH MY! One of the monkeys, started to wank off and lick itself...it was crazy and the whole crowd went wild! Anyway, it all got topped off with a great evening with the acrobatics performance, and some crazy ripped bodies!

PCN was more fun than I had in a while on stage despite the small part that I played. My parents and my brother enjoyed it and really could relate to the Filipino innuendos and funny stereotypes. I hope it makes it on video so I can show you guys
IAn

We had a lot of different acts incorporated into the play, before and during.

The Philippines which I had not really had close ties with has become my home. I can offically call it my home because I've experienced such graciousness, and above all a generous, welcoming community of Telbang. I am going to make my scrapbook and dedicate it to them. They will always remain in my heart and I do vow come back and see them. I sadly know that things will never be the same when I return nor will things here in the US either.

I hadn't had any expectations on this trip expecting something like a vacation. Instead, I've found a closer group of people I have bonded with, a host family I can call family and who I care deeply for, and a raw understanding of what it means to be poor but give so much.

Natalie, Sara, and I hung out at Sara's house before she left to Tennesse. We were playing some of the board games she had and she made us lunch.

Sometime in the summer, Betsy, Cris, and I went to Imperial Beach (www.livejournal.com/users/ianjoel) look under Imperial Beach post. Here you can really see some of the nice sand castles they had. We also got lost on some bus that said 25 cents to sandcastle place but that didnt mean we would go straight to the sandcastles. Instead we were going away from them. haha Anyway, good times.
